Career carpenter, business owner since 1986. Multi-generation tradesmen. onsite supervision, estimating, customer relations. married for 43 years, father of three, grandfather of 5. Affinity for travel, fast cars and hot rods.

David Coursey
Manager, Chestnut Bay Cabinets
Graduate of Virginia Tech w/ bachelor’s degrees in Communication and English
Following early career in both Media Relations and Customer Service, transitioned into building industry with focus in Cabinetry
Manage production in the shop. Enjoy working with clients from design inception through to finished product. Incorporate architectural designs into working, CNC-integrated shop drawings.
Native of Washington DC metro region. Moved to Nantucket in 2001 where I transitioned into the construction field. Married to interior designer and together raise our 4 year old daughter in Centerville.
Bill Schmitz
Senior Project Manager for The House Carpenters
Joined the Bishopric Companies in 1998 after 6yrs of Restaurant Management. Began in the field and have progressed to project management for the past 7yrs. Perform timely and accurate estimating. Schedule all carpenters in the field and perform as the company liaison for clients. Co-ordinate, schedule and oversee all sub-contractors. Perform job cost analysis and fiscal projections.
Married to Jennifer for 19yrs and have one son named Cody. Hobbies would include golf, fishing, and watching most sports.
